<title>Pipin' For a Purpose</title>
<description>The Deck at Harbor Pointe (Formerly the Lagoon) 101 Taylor Ave, Essington PA Presents &quot;Pipin&#39; For a Purpose&quot; Darby Fire Company # 1 &amp; The Camden County Emerald Society have teamed up for a fundraising event to help both organizations. The proceeds will benefit both organizations and a donation will be made to the Delaware County Fire, EMS &amp; Police Memorial Committee.    The Camden County Emerald Society Pipes &amp; Drums will be performing during the event &amp; we will have a DJ &amp; Entertainment in between sets! The Pipes &amp; Drums will perform both inside and outside (weather permitting)   Tickets are $30 and include Buffet, Beer, Wine &amp; Soda (Cash Bar will be available)  We also will have 50/50&#39;s &amp; a silent auction &amp; door prizes  So come on out and Support Darby Fire Company # 1, Camden County Emerald Society &amp; the Delaware County Fire EMS &amp; Police Memorial Committee  Please contact us with any questions, ticket needs etc   For those who would like to make a Donation or Purchase Tickets in advance please send a check or money order payable to Darby Fire Company # 1 to the following address, please include where tickets should be mailed to  Darby Fire Co. # 1 P.O. <title>Aldan House Fire</title>
<description>Shortly after 11pm, Companies 06, 42 and RIT 44 were dispatched to 639 Maple Ave in Aldan for the house fire. Upon the stations confirming, fireboard advised working fire from the police. 42-9 arrived and special called 04. 04-2 staffed with 7 responded and arrived shortly after Quint06 and Engine42. Command advised 04-2 to take first in truck company operations. 04-2 split the crew to perform first in truck work and stretching an 1 3/4&quot; handline to affect search in the fire building. Crews from 04-2 entered the B side door into the kitchen area and commenced fire suppression and search. Ladders were thrown by 04-2 crew and quickly arriving 04-1 crew. <title>Electrical Fire</title>
<description>At 13:32 hours companies 04, 21, 42, 06, and Ladder 16 were dispatched to the 1100 Block of Wycombe Ave for the building fire. As 04-2 went responding, fireboard reported the caller states an electrical outlet was on fire. Upon arrival, 04-2 in Command of Lt. Dan Traband advised nothing showing and will be investigating. 04-13 advised fireboard there was no fire and the crew secured the electricity to the defective outlet. Crews remained on scene for about 20 minutes for further investigation and were made available from the scene.Number Of Personal Responding: 14Officer In Charge: Lt. <title>Company Banquet</title>
<description>  On Saturday February 4th 2012 we will be having our 237th Awards banquet at the Ramada Inn located at 76 Industrial Highway in Tinicum Township. The banquet starts with cocktail hour at 6pm and dinner to immediately follow at 7pm. Tickets are $25 for Life members and $40 for members and their guest. If you wish to attend or need more information please contact Vice President Joanne Middaugh or Lieutenant Dan Traband. The Ramada Inn has blocked off rooms for the banquet and if you&rsquo;re planning on staying please call and ask for &ldquo;in house reservations&rdquo; and mention that you&rsquo;re attending the banquet for discounted room rates. The deadline for tickets are January 28th and all tickets must be purchased in advance.  </description>

<title>Multi Alarm Fire in Collingdale</title>
<description>Stations 42 (Collingdale #2), 06 (Collingdale #1) &amp; R.I.T. 19 (Lansdowne) were dispatched to 27 Rhodes for the reported dwelling fire. Collingdale Police along with 42-9 and 42-9B arrived to find fire showing from a two story twin which was extending into the Bravo side exposure. 42-9 requested Company 04 (Darby #1) to be added to the assignment. 04-2 arrived dropping their own supply line and went in service with two 1 3/4 attack lines. Quint 06 and Engine 42 arrived and assisted with the fire suppression. 42-9 soon after called for the 2nd alarm and Canteen 47 (Chester Township). Crews operated for three hours. Special thanks to Squirt 36 (Cardington-Stonehurst) and Engine 08 (Prospect Park) for covering the boro. </description>

<title>MVA WITH WIRES DOWN</title>
<description>On October 29th at approximately 1600, Companies 04, 21, and Rescue 42 were dispatched to 5th and Main to assist Medic 04-7A on an accident involving a private ambulance. 04-7A advised 04 command that PECO was needed due to the possibility of wires being down on the ambulance. 04-7A requested 2 additional ALS units and 1 BLS unit for a total of 6 patients. 04-2 assisted 04-7A with removal of all patients and remained on scene until SEPTA secured the power and the ambulance was removed from the pole.
