The Darby Fire Company #1 provides Emergency Medical Service to the Boroughs of Darby, Colwyn, and Sharon Hill as well as mutual aid to numerous neighboring communities. The ambulance is an Advanced Life Support Unit staffed around the clock with paramedics and emergency medical technicians from Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital. The unit is housed at Station 4.
