Engine and Medic attend Community Day

 August 12, 2013

Engine and Medic 04 attended Darby Borough's annual community day at the Darby Rec Center located at 10th St and Ridge Ave. The engine staffed with 4 volunteers and medic with 2 were on hand for 2 hours and enjoyed showing off the engine and it's equipment to the young kids of Darby Borough.Β

We are sad to hear the passing of Brian Feeney Sr who was a longtime fireground photographer in the Delaware County area. He spent many days and nights at our incidents in town.

- At 1831 hrs, Engine 4 was dispatched to assist Upper Darby Township Fire Dept. with a working fire on the 500 block of Littlecroft Rd. The fire has been placed under control.

- Earlier this morning, members from DFC attended an Engine Operations course at station 17(Aston). The course was hosted by station 46(Rocky Run) through Bucks County Fire. Members will return to class tomorrow to complete the 16 hours course. #darbyfire #Engine4 #squrt4
