Fireman since 2015

I joined Darby back in March 2015, I was a young kid at the time and did not know how I would fit in with a group of aggressive firefighters when I had little experience. The guys right away taught me how to get comfortable with being uncomfortable in situations and trained with me constantly to be a better person and firefighter. Darby is such a unique and special place that will keep you on your toes and be a better firefighter while making amazing memories and friends.

Fireman since 2010

The reason I joined Darby was because it felt like the right place to be at. I wanted to be apart of a place that would push me to be a better fireman. From going to a lot of calls, dealing with tight streets, and to the different building types we encounter in a small area, it's a great place to gain experience. It’s a family oriented firehouse where I’ve gained lifetime long friends, just being here is amazing with the guys always willing to help out each other.
